How it works
You start by creating and configuring a Project, which takes 1 to 5 minutes. Then, you add the specs. At any time, you can print a Spec Book, Schedule (Furnishing and Finish), and Budget. Print the Spec Book for the whole project or just specs for a selected Location, Manufacturer or Rep Firm. Likewise, a project Budget can be printed with subtotals by Area - in a hotel, for example, the lobby guestrooms, meeting rooms, etc.
Create a Project Budget While Entering Your Specs
After you enter or change pricing in the spec, the pricing
information is immediately available in the Budget and Furnishing Schedule
and/or Finish Schedules, so that you have a complete summary, including costs.

Import Images from the Web or Scan in Line Drawings
Go to a manufacturer's catalog on the web and import an image. Scan in a drawing or photo. Add it to the spec and it is in your Spec Book.
Re-Use Your Specs
Once a specification is entered, you can store it for future
re-use. So, if you have a particular chair that you desire to use on several
different projects, that information can be retrieved and re-used again and
again without ever having to re-enter the data. When retrieved, it can be
edited to suit the current project. This feature is a tremendous time saver. No
more writing or typing specifications over and over again. No longer will you
have to rely on your overloaded memory to locate special furnishing that you
used on previous projects.
Clone a Project
Use this feature when you are doing multiple projects with
virtually identical interiors - like a series of retirement centers or a chain
of restaurants. Spec Book Pro software allows you to easily copy a project,
rename it, then edit the specs as necessary to change colors, finishes,
quantities, etc. It's an incredibly simple way to save time and increase
project profitability.
For presentations, clone a project several times and create
several different budgets for your client. Increase your chances of winning the

Track Manufacturers and Rep Firms
The Spec Book Pro database helps you track key information for Manufacturers and Rep Firms. For even greater productivity, the Manufacturer detail screen shows all the Rep Firms for that Manufacturer. Similarly, the Rep Firm detail screen lists all the Manufacturers handled by that Rep Firm.
Manage Contact Information
Spec Book Pro software can store the addresses, email, phone and fax numbers, and contact names for all your clients, manufacturers, reps, consultants, etc.
